Always one to move with the times EP Cambridge has decided to create a blog. In this daily diary of the comings and goings of one the worlds largest Alpaca orientated organisations we will offer an insight in to what really goes on at EP Cambridge.
To bring you up to speed the last few weeks has been a whirlwind of events in Australia and the UK. Over here Matt and Cathy returned from their extended trip to Europe, Cambridge Escalabar won Supreme at Royal Adelaide (he's the son of Ruffo daughter Trinity and Jolimont Commisario) and another pleasing run of Embryo transfer took place. Now we are once again preparing for Matt and Cathy's departure as they head back to the UK - I guess they must have liked it too much the first time!!! At EP Cambridge UK they also headed up a highly succesful ET programme and saw our awesome European Suri herd sold in what must be one of the most positive moves the UK market has seen. Unfortunately the vaguaries of Foot and Mouth have once again hit home - fingers crossed it will be eradicated quickly and efficiently this time around!
The birthings in England are winding down but here the fun is just beginning. Many of the Royals are lazily enjoying the spring sunshine out in the birthing paddocks showing no indication that they intend to satisfy our curiosity as to what gems they will provide us with this year. Cathy is convinced that they will provide the answers to our hopes just as the plane takes off.
