Well some time has certainly elapsed since we have 'blogged'! The pace of things here in Australia just never seems to let up! We ran an ET programme in february which produced an excellent spread of genetics for next years drop - now all efforts are focussed on nurturing the recipient females - it's a bit of bribary and corruption really, nurture that little innocent embryo and we will shower you with the best of the best feed going. The alpaca is an expert manipulater but in spite of 18 days at over 35 degrees (by the end of which everyone was a little testy) they are holding tight! Well done girls!
Now we are off to Sydney for the World Alpaca Conference. Everyone is certainly looking forward to it. A great opportunity to hear about all the latest and greatest innovations in things alpaca. Even better is catching up with familiar faces from both here and the UK. I will let you know how it goes . . .
