Was it all a dream......

We are all left wondering if the trip to sunny sydney was just a dream today after this morning brought torrential rain, high winds and a dose of panic. With rain lashing down around our ears it was clear that the weather's angry turn had wreaked havoc with fences down, apple trees leaning at precarious angles, roots upturned by a torrid gust in the night. With paddocks checked and vulnerable animals safely brought in to shelter to dry off and warm up it was definitely time for a well earned cup of tea! It is hard to believe that just a few weeks ago everyone was growing exasperated by 40 degree days where irrigators creaked comfortingly in the background and the grass was tinder dry. Even after just one drenching the regeneration is amazing - a definite tinge of green across the dry grazing is evident.
