A dinky di little guy!

Well the weekend has rolled around once again. On the farm things were much quieter today with none of the girls producing cria. The weather was perfect for a leisurely drive around the paddocks taking in that vital snapshot of where everyone is at in grazing and what the top jobs will be for myself and Ken next week - moving a the two pregnant herds is once again a priority not to mention pulling off a few heavy dues, I distinctly noticed a few girls beginning to master a very pregnant waddle!! Anyway the real highlight of todays check was my first very close encounter with a very australian cuddly critter! I had seen them in captivity but never a fair dinkum Aussie Koala Bear!!! Thank the lord for the masterful being who created the mobile phone with inbuilt camera and video!

Yesterday was also special in that it was the 2nd birthday of our boy Cavalier and to celebrate he had his first mating of the year! He had messed around a bit but yesterday he performed with skill normally reserved for the older guys - even her best little fidget couldn't deter him!

Anyway that is definitely enough excitement for now!!
